Felt Tongue Pads are a great item to have on hand, as they can fix a multitude of small fit issues. For those with sensitive insteps, they can protect against pressure from the shoe’s tongue when laced tightly. For those with low insteps, they can take up some volume in the shoes, ensuring the facings aren’t overlapped when laced. For those with heel slippage, a tongue pad can help gently push your foot into the heel counter – which can limit slippage. We can’t promise these will fix all shoe issues, of course, but they’re handy little things!
